Technical Manager (TM)
The TM classification series encompasses non-engineering professional and managerial positions.
These classifications span from entry-level to top management. Performance of professional duties
may be administrative or technical in nature and involve participating in or supervising activities,
units or functions engaged in implementing various aspects of a transportation program or project.
Who is eligible?
Qualifying candidates for this program will have desirable educational requirements, including knowledge,
skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college. Additional experience requirements
may include working knowledge of research and statistical methods and techniques as well as a working understanding of
governmental operations, public finance and taxation as related to transportation activities.
